Creative Marketplace: A Pre-launch

In its unyielding campaign to drive innovation and expand its reach beyond traditional sectors of the economy, the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions of the Department of Trade and Industry launches the Creative Marketplace, a Design Week Philippines event component that focuses on the country’s Creative Cities program in collaboration with UNESCO, and the Philippines’ content industry, specifically the Animation and Game Development, Graphic Design, and Illustration sectors.

Happening on 20-22 October 2016, CITEM invites industry players, interested stakeholders, and creative professionals to this 3-day event featuring a series of thought-provoking masterclasses, talks, huddles, and on site art activities and installations set at CITEM’s design driven venue HallONE in Pasay City, Metro Manila.

Leveraging on the Filipinos’ impeccable illustration skills and inherent ability to create high-value content, CITEM—through the Creative Marketplace, commits itself to the country’s content sector, offering opportunities for idea sharing, networking, and collaboration while nurturing a culture of innovation, and addressing concerns that hinder industry growth.
